Taryn Day's Paintings
Taryn Day graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine arts in 1982 with a four year certificate in painting. She has been painting and exhibiting ever since, but recently completed her BFA from the University of Pennsylvania. She has won many grants and awards, notably the Ware Scholarship for European Travel from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and an artist residency with the Helena Wurlitzer Foundation in Taos, New Mexico.
Her painting style can be described as "painterly realism". A review in the Philadelphia Inquirer (by Victoria Donahoe) has described her paintings as "subtle and intense works that somehow achieve serenity and energy at the same time."
Taryn Day is preparing for a solo exhibition at the Pennswood Village Art Gallery in Newtown in March 2009.

Jamie Roman's Photographic Montages and Fiber Arts
Jamie Roman is a Digital Artist. Working in Photoshop, she uses Digital Drawing techniques, as well as photo manipulation techniques to create original pieces of digital art and photographic Montages. Jamie is also an experienced web designer and manages many websites, specializing in the arts community.
Jamie Roman alsoenjoys working with Fibers. Uing various felting techniques she creates both soft sculptor and wearable art.

Melinda Rose Photography
After a long productive career as a writer and Montessori teacher, Melinda Rose returned to college and graduated (summa cum Laude ’03) from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts/Photography. Her innovative approach using the image as a tool for healing has been used on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and more recently in Louisiana’s Bayou communities impacted by hurricanes Katrina and Rita. In 2007 Melinda became certified to teach art in Louisiana’s Public Schools.

Sue Quinque was a high school art teacher for 34 years. Her passion for beads began 7 years ago with a stringing workshop and continued to grow expanding to wire, chain maille and metal clay. She teaches at My Father’s Beads in Coopersburg, PA and Buttercup Beads in Pottstown, PA

Tom and Susette Kazary have the good fortune to work with a variety of materials, in wonderful ways. Making the trip to their studio, the Diabase Lodge, one can see a fence made of bikes, a cement paisley patio and path, ceramic tiles made of local clay, resin and rock sculptures and ceramic vessels of book shelf quality.
