The Katie Stauffer Memorial Art Center is Proud to Bring the Arts and Nature together in this summer's Arts and Nature Weeks! Children entering 1st - 6th grades will enjoy plaing outdoors and gathering natural supplies to incorporate into their Artwork!! Our team of highly qualified Artists and Educators will provide a fun opportunity for your child to express their creativity through nature based crafts. Throughout our daily hikes, children will gain a valuable knowledge of their surroundings as we explore nature and search for our “Treasures”. Using the found objects from our hikes, we will explore Pottery, Fiber Arts, Mosaics and much more! Before saying good-bye, kids will have the opportunity to “Shake out all Their Sillies” with our certified Children’s Yoga Instructor. The Katie Stauffer Arts and Nature weeks are intended to be a peaceful environment where children are encouraged to express themselves through their creativity, as well as through positive communication and interaction both with one and other and Nature. It is our goal to help each child find their creative voice and use it to their fullest potential.
