Clay
Pottery with Linda Stauffer

CeramicsBeginner to intermediate. Learn the techniques of throwing pottery on the potter's wheel, glazing and gain a knowledge of clay processes, through instruction and hands on experience. Handbuilding instruction offered also

.$20 for a 2 1/2 hr class. Includes firing and 25# of clay

Each class is limited to 5 students. Please register early to secure your space.

Pottery Classes are held in our Haycock Clay Studio, located down the street from Haycock Elementary School.

Pottery S1: Mondays, 6:00-8:300pm,

Pottery S2: Wednesdays, 9:00-12:00 AM,

Pottery S3 Wednesdays 12:00-3:00

Clay Sculpture with Linda Stauffer
Beginner to intermediate. Learn to make a clay sculpture..... add glazes and patinas. $20 a class(Plus a $25 fee for 25 lbs of clay,glazes and firing. Mold materials not included. They can be purchased at SmoothOn in Easton

Beginning Beadwork with Gloria Leight
Explore the ancient technique of beadweaving in which small beads are woven together.  Learn four stitches in this class, Peyote, Brick, Herringbone, and Square Stitch, and make jewelry you will be proud to wear or give to someone else. (This is not a simple bead stringing class.)  Instructor:  Gloria Leight

Adult Combination Drawing and Painting Class
Students will explore a variety of drawing techniques such as implementation of line and value, and shading to achieve lively renditions of natural objects such as leaves, acorns and trees.  Students will also explore their unique self image by capturing a dramatic angle of their own face through photography and then transferring it onto canvas to paint by use of a simple grid.  Instructor:  Alyssa Reinert

Beginning Off-Loom Bead Weaving

GloriaLearn the basics of off-loom bead weaving techniques, including Peyote, Brick, Square, Triangle and Right Angle Weave. Beginner to Intermediate Levels.

Intermediate Off-Loom Bead Weaving

Bead WeavingThis fun class is for those with some off-loom bead weaving experience, working with basic stitches. Add a new dimension of creativity to basic off-loom bead weaving by incorporating tubular and circular variations. 6 weeks, $99
